Fill Out the Red Jacket Mascot Survey!

Dear Red Jacket Community,

The Manchester-Shortsville Central School District is excited to announce the second round of surveys for the New York State-mandated rebrand. Building upon the invaluable feedback received from our previous survey, district leadership, in collaboration with the Rebranding Committee, has meticulously narrowed down the list of potential mascots to three selections: the Red Jacket Cardinals, the Red Jacket Rail Hawks, and the Red Jacket Bears.

Your participation in this survey is crucial in shaping the future identity of our district. We invite you to share your Red Jacket Pride by completing the survey by Friday, May 17th. To access the survey, please click the button below. Alternatively, paper surveys are available upon request by contacting the district office at (585) 289-2150.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement.

Important School Calendar Change

Dear Red Jacket Community,

Due to the fact that we have unused emergency weather related closure days, we will be altering our school calendar and Friday, May 24th, we will be closed for students and employees. At this time we are still collaborating with WFL BOCES and regional school districts to clarify how this will impact students attending out of District placements. Many Districts in our region will also provide that same day off for the same reason we are. We will communicate with parents who have children attending schools and programs out of District as we receive more information. If you have any questions, please contact your school building's main office.
